The WBA campaign 2007 ends...

Dinas Powis made a surprise exit from the Curruthers Shield competition on Saturday following a close encounter against Blaina. Blaina took an early lead and all Dinas rinks had to chase the game from early on. The game remained within Dinas's reach until the 19th end when only 9 shots seperated the teams. A fine last 2 ends by Blaina saw them home by 10 shots. Dinas captain Andrew Harvey congratulated Blaina on their fine win and wished them well in the forthcoming games.
